In my last blog I wrote that Dr. Seuss was a favorite author. Another favorite is Shakespeare.
One might think that because I love romance and Shakespeare that "Romeo & Juliet" would be a favorite love story of...

No wonder I like this writer so much.

When I was a little girl I was a daydreamer. I searched the garden for fairies. I wished I could fly. I wanted to travel the roads as a gypsy. My head was filled with fairytales and I believed in the power of imagination.
Just because I am now an adult, it does not mean I've left any of it behind...

When I tell people...

Last night as I walked across a parking lot in El Paso, TX I noticed the moon, low on the horizon. It was just a thumbnail and the sky was a little cloudy. It looked amazing. Mysterious.
I love moments like that. When nature catches my attention and then holds it.
It is one of the things I love...

I didn't really make any New Year resolutions. I didn't set any goals.
Because I tend to just live each day as it happens. And sometimes I wake up and just want to write, or play with the grandkids, or go hiking, or clean the garage.
I used to be a neat freak. I used to keep "to do lists...

I am over 10,000 words into my novel about Rochelle and Connor and the story is coming along well. I started the novel with only a vague idea of what it was going to be about. But the character came alive and it is flowing even better than I'd hoped.
I can't wait to finish this!!
